The agreement between you and Pulse Mate: who may hold an account, what you may do with your companions, and what we are and are not responsible for.

These terms are the agreement between you and Pulse Mate for your use of this site and everything on it. By creating an account, signing in or using any part of the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Pulse Mate.
Pulse Mate is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough under the law where you live to agree to these terms. We ask for your date of birth during sign-up and refuse any account that does not meet the minimum age. If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we close the account and delete the data held under it.
One person, one account. Keep your email address accurate, verify it when we send you a link, and choose a password you do not use anywhere else. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you, so keep your sign-in details private and do not let anyone else use your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and use the sign out of other devices control in account settings. Tell us as soon as you can.
Pulse Mate is currently provided at no charge and every account sits on the free tier. The premium PulseMateVibe tier is shown in the interface, but billing is not yet available: no payment details are collected and no charge is made. If paid subscriptions are introduced, the price, the billing period and the cancellation and refund terms will be shown to you before any payment is taken, and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe. You will always be able to cancel a subscription, with access continuing until the end of the period you already paid for.
Companions on Pulse Mate are fictional characters generated by AI models. They are not real people, they do not have feelings, memories or intentions of their own, and any resemblance to a real person is unintended. Portraits, backstories, inner thoughts, relationship levels and messages are generated output, not statements of fact about anyone.
Anything your companion says may be inaccurate, incomplete or entirely made up, and it is never professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, mental health, legal, financial, safety or any other professional decision, and speak to a qualified professional instead. If you are in crisis or someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
You keep ownership of what you create and upload: companion names, backstories, trait choices, appearance settings, prompts, reference photos and the messages you write. To run the service you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, adapt and display that content, and to send it to the AI providers who generate replies, backstories and images for you. The licence exists only so we can operate and improve Pulse Mate for you, and it ends for future use when you delete the content or your account.
Use Pulse Mate lawfully and for yourself. You must not create, request or upload sexual content involving minors or anyone made to appear as a minor; content depicting real, identifiable people without their consent, including as a companion or a reference photo; content that is illegal, that incites violence or hatred, or that harasses or threatens anyone; or content that infringes the rights of others. You must not attempt to bypass safety limits, scrape or bulk-download the site, interfere with its operation, probe its security, resell access, or use automated tools to interact with it. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break this section.
When you upload a photograph to guide a portrait, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that any identifiable person in it has agreed to its use here. Do not upload photographs of other people without their permission, and never photographs of minors.
The Pulse Mate name, logo, interface, code, artwork and catalog content belong to us or to our licensors. You are given a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the site as it is intended to be used. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you, and you may not copy, modify or redistribute the site or its content outside that ordinary use.
Pulse Mate is under active development. Parts of it are previews that do not yet function, including live voice and video sessions and the PulseMateVibe tier. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may set reasonable limits on usage. Where a change materially reduces something you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.
You may stop using Pulse Mate at any time, delete individual companions from the creator, and delete your account from account settings. Deleting your account is permanent: your profile, companions and conversations go with it and we cannot restore them. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are required to close by law, or that puts the service or other members at risk. The sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement, including licence grants for content we still hold, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue to apply.
Pulse Mate is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error free or secure against every threat, that generated content will suit you, or that a companion will behave consistently from one conversation to the next. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not set out expressly in these terms.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, for emotional distress, or for loss of data or content arising from your use of Pulse Mate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published, and material changes will be signalled in the site before they take effect. Continuing to use Pulse Mate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
